An established FMCG manufacturing company based in Tauranga.

**More About The Role**

In this role, you will be in a "factory finance" role working closely with the Commercial Accountant. You will be out on the factory floor dealing with stakeholders outside of finance.

You will be responsible for analysing our production processes, tracking inventory levels, and ensuring accurate cost accounting records.

**Responsibilities**:

- Analyse production processes to determine cost of materials, labour, and overhead
- Monitor inventory levels and reconcile inventory discrepancies
- Collaborate with production and procurement teams to ensure accurate data collection and analysis
- Provide recommendations for process improvements to reduce costs and increase efficiency
- Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analysis as needed

**So Who Are You & What Is Your Profile?**

**Requirements**:

- Ideally you will be CA or have similar applicable experience
- At least 3 years of experience in cost accounting within FMCG
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
