We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our Auckland Logistics Team. This role is a permanent full-time position. You will be required to work a minimum of 45 hours per week, usually Monday to Friday. However, given the nature of the position, you may be expected to work on weekends, with a maximum of 50 hours per week. The salary for this position is between $80,000 to $85,000.

**Reporting directly to the Auckland Logistics Manager, the key responsibilities of the position are to**:

- Manage all operational warehouse areas including determining, planning, implementing, monitoring and managing logistics and warehouse activities
- Ensure all activities within the Logistics Operation comply with relevant law, rules, and regulations
- Work with the team to ensure that the logistics function provides a high level of support to our variety of customers
- Utilising operating systems to investigate, analyse, and report on performance improvement
- Provide leadership and direction to meet operational, health and safety, quality and environmental targets to your team
- Provide effective performance feedback and coaching to your Team Leaders and have optimal performing teams
- Comply with all HR policies
- Participate in training initiatives

**To be successful in this position, you will have the following skills, experience and training**:

- Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience with exposure to Warehouse Management / Supervision
- Robust knowledge of 3PL, logistics, including planning, reporting, performance monitoring and evaluating
- Experience and knowledge of people management
- An understanding of wider business environment that Mainstream operates in
- Leadership capabilities: o Ability to empower and stimulate innovation o Lead by example in all behaviours
- Management capabilities: o Sound organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple contracts/projects at any one time o Reporting
- Relationship management and communication: o An ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a wide range of people in all situations o An ability to form successful relationships with Mainstream employees and external clients
- Personal attributes: o Able to work across very different organisations o Strong communication abilities, written and verbal o Consultative interpersonal style o Sound judgment and decision-making o Action oriented, results driven o Honest, high standards of integrity o Personal commitment to excellence o Ability to organise and manage multiple tasks and projects to meet deadlines
