**About the role**:
Yoobee Colleges is a market leader in design, multimedia and web development education, offering a range of programs in digital technology, with campuses in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.

The South Seas Film Campus is seeking a fixed term, full-time tutor for the Film & Content Creation Level 5 Programme.

**Film Making**:

- Understanding and familiarity of camera operation and filmmaking equipment (lighting, audio, AV equipment)
- Understanding of artistic filmmaking techniques (i.e. composition, colour etc)
- Storytelling, directing and screenwriting abilities
- Health and Safety Practice

**Software**:

- Familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite
- Competency in Premiere, After Effects & Audition
- Familiarity with Nuke (preferred, not essential)

**Soft Skills**:

- Familiarity with the design process and human-centred design practices
- Be a competent oral and written communicator
- Ability to connect with students through a variety of delivery methods and provide basic pastoral care and support
- Be organised with excellent time management skills
- Be able to practice patience, try out new things, and maintain a positive, enthusiastic attitude
- You need to be able to connect and build relationships with students. The ability to respect and appreciate differences is important
- Be prepared to expand your adult teaching skillset as part of professional development
