Field Applications Engineer

Braemac is looking for a Field Applications Engineer, FPGA Specialist join our team in Auckland or Christchurch.

**ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Tutoring and supporting customers in HDL and FPGA design principles and practices to include, synthesis, place and route, simulation and verification, performance optimisation, debugging and troubleshooting.
- Reference design and development platform demonstrations, and product training to both customers and internal staff.
- Provide engineering design support to strategic customers.
- Uncover engineering design opportunities and new customer engagements, which includes interacting with and maintain our CRM system.
- Management of design opportunities from concept to design win.
- Cooperative engagement of customers with our companies sales and product marketing teams to position our focus suppliers leading edge solutions into new projects.
- Attend supplier training both locally and overseas to ensure most current industry knowledge and accreditation where required and maintain a continued learning regime.
- Additional duties associated with the above as assigned.

**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**
- Required - Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineer (BSEE), or equivalent degree. Minimum 2 years’ experience with Programmable Gate Array design.
