**The Opportunity**:
As part of our new structure, we are currently seeking Theatre Associate Charge Nurses for the following specialties: Cardiothoracic; General and Paediatrics; Urology and Gynaecology; and ENT, Dental and Plastics.

Reporting to the Theatre Charge Nurse, this is a key senior role in Theatre, responsible for providing clinical and nursing leadership across each individual specialty, and ensuring efficient management of resources to support an outstanding experience for our specialists, patients, and team.

To be successful in this role:

- You will need a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role or working environment, where you have had similar responsibilities and where you are comfortable scrubbing for a variety of surgeries;
- You must have a current New Zealand Nursing Registration (APC);
- You will understand that the key to success lies in our team operating in collaboration with one another and you will set an example and lead the team in a manner which enhances cooperation and teamwork;
- You will be known for your clear and professional communication skills and your ability to remain calm and collected in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment.
