Yards Man/ Painter

This is a full-time position working 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 7.30am to 5.00pm. After hours required from to time.

Armoured Engineering Limited based in Taupo specialises in all aspects of design and engineering work. Focused on delivering quality craftmanship competitive pricing and quick turnaround to any sized job. From Structural steel work ROPS FOPS and OPS design and manufacture to General Engineering Precision Machining and Cad design and drafting.

**Experience**:
Experience in prepping automotive & industrial coatings
Experience in handling hazardous substances & flammable goods.
Class 2 Drivers license an added benefit.

**Paint duties**:
Prepping and masking.
Paint any parts needed on site to a high standard.
Order accurate product required for the jobs through suppliers.
Keep paint store stocked clean and tidy, maintain all relatable
equipment.
Painting in the workshop due to Health and Safety will be required to be done after hours.
Work with the workshop Manager around time frames and scheduling.

**Yard duties**:
Delivery of materials and pick up of materials.
Loading and unloading trucks.
Palletising & dispatching finished products.
Keep both yards organised to a high standard.
Manage the forklift & trailer maintenance at both yards.
Manage the gas bottle stock & levels at both yards.
Loading & organising scrap metal bin pickups.
Follow all reasonable instructions.

Follow and work with all Health and safety guidelines.
Be proactive with minimising risks, hazards, and improving health and safety systems.
Enter all times and materials into jobbing app daily or at the end of every job.
Can work efficiently and productively whilst unsupervised and with mínimal direct management supervision.
