**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
This role would suit a highly organised, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy Administrator, who is available in August and looking for Part-Time temporary work until the end of November. Our clients are looking for someone who takes initiative and is looking for ownership of the role. This role is fast-paced and has a varied, everchanging workload and is in the government industry.

The role has the benefit of being able to work anywhere in the central north island and flexibility in working 20 hours a week - perfect to fit into your schedule

**DUTIES**:

- Managing internal and external team meeting minutes.
- Logistics to support engagement activities i.e. booking venues, coordinating collateral, organising printing and deliveries, catering, booking various meetings to support engagement, attendance at various engagement activities in Palmerston North.
- Coordinating project work plans i.e. updating pipeline engagement report around what has been sent and what are the next steps (per project) and set out planning to support next engagement activities that will follow city-wide engagement.
- Assisting with setting up of events/community development activities.
- Assisting the manager(s) with diary management, including organising meetings and creating meeting agendas.
- Booking meetings with stakeholders/partners.
- Invoicing - various engagement activity.

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**:

- A qualification in business administration, project management, or other relevant disciplines together with demonstrated experience in project and/or programme coordination/administration is desirable.
- A high degree of computer literacy and proficiency with relevant software products (Office 365), especially Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills as well as a demonstrated commitment to relationship building and working in partnership with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills and the willingness and ability to learn.
- Experience in prioritising demands, meeting deadlines, and delivering desired results by taking ownership, using effective self and time-management approaches, minute taking, and paying attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to use sound judgment in making decisions and knowing when to escalate a decision.
- The ability to clearly and concisely convey information and ideas in both oral and written communication.
- Proactive approach and ability to work independently.
