Join us as a Qualified Arborist in our Canterbury Landscaping Department

In this role, you will undertake all aspects of arboriculture, horticulture, landscaping and vegetation management to help deliver work for our customers safely, on time and to the highest quality standard.

In addition to the above you will:

- Carry out Pruning, trimming, de-limbing and dismantling of trees using a variety of methods and equipment, e.g. chainsaws.
- Dispose of trimmed and felled vegetation by using appropriate equipment, e.g. brush chippers, grinders.
- Communicate with landowners on work to be performed and complete all required documentation as set out by the company or client.
- Operate specialist vehicles in off-road environments to carry out vegetation work.

We’re looking for someone with:

- Trade Certificate in arboriculture or vegetation control
- Hands-on experience and sufficient knowledge of a wide range of arboriculture work.
- Full clean class 1 drivers’ licence (class 2 above advantageous)
- A proactive approach toward Health and Safety - its our #1 priority
- Flexibility in dealing with adverse weather, resource, materials and other conditions
- The ability to problem solve in a fast-paced team environment
- A sound work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
