**Asphalt Worker**

We are looking for 8 new permanent team members to join our Crew, based in Auckland. These are a minimum of 40 hours a week working Monday to Saturday on roster, so flexibility is a must.

**About the role**:

- Permanent Full-time role with competitive rate $29.66 per hour
- Offloading the truck and gathering tools for the day.
- Transporting rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows, and spray cans to the paver.
- Cutting of transverse joints with pavement saw.
- Sweeping and cleaning the area in front of the paver.
- Assisting with measuring and lining out the area for the days paving.
- Operating of plate compactor.
- Shovelling material out to the end gate.
- Raking the joints.
- Follow all H&S requirements whilst at work.
- Ensure compliance with Company policy and procedure for all staff and visitors operating within your site.
- Participate actively in weekly toolbox meetings.
- Travelling within Auckland region would be required.
- Maintaining cleanliness of site/equipment and packing equipment away at the end of the day.

**About you**:

- Minimum 12 monthswork experience in an Asphalt Paving Crew
- Class 1 drivers licence or overseas equivalent
- Previous experience in a Paving Crew
- Physically fit, due to active nature of the role
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Ability to follow directions clearly.
- Time management skills, ensuring tasks are completed in expected timeframe for the project.
- Team player, ability to work cohesively with your team to ensure all tasks completed.
