**Mō tēnei tūranga mahi - About the role**

This Senior Academic Staff Member role will provide academic leadership into Ara's Science programmes. The successful applicant will work closely with Academic Management to maintain and enhance a high performing work-based learning partnership. Drawing on strong consultation and collaboration skills, the role requires a proactive and agile approach to emerging partnership needs within regulatory requirements. An online teaching component is included in this.8 position.

- A post graduate qualification in Science (eg Applied Science, Anatomy, Physiology)
- Experience as a tertiary
- Current industry/discipline knowledge
- Vision, innovation and a commitment to facilitating own and others'
- Digital literacy including competence using a computer (including Microsoft office products)
- Adult teaching qualifications e.g NZCATT (desirable)
