We’re looking for a Supply Planner in Produce to join our team on a secondment basis, here in Aotearoa, reporting to one of our Produce Category Managers. A fantastic opportunity to gain experience within the merchandise and fresh produce team. Joining our team you’ll take accountability to ensure the supply is balanced against our store demands. You will be streamlining the flow of goods from our suppliers to our distribution centres and right to our stores Using advanced planning systems, and working collaboratively with our suppliers, Merch and Replenishment teams, you’ll help to ensure we purchase the right products, the right quantities and at the right time.
**About the Role | Mō te Tūranga**
You’ll be responsible for effective planning with our Supplier Partners and Category Managers to identify efficiencies internally and externally and balancing stock holding against network constraints/variability. With efficient use of our WWNZ systems (e.g. SAP), you’ll be accountable to order stock into distribution centres and monitor stock holding and demand to maximise stock availability for stores and hold optimal inventory as per agreed budgets. You will create operating rhythms with suppliers that are tailor made to the way we operate together, facilitating strong collaboration between all parties involved
**About You | Mōu**
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring some Planning experience within the Fresh produce space, however if you have a positive attitude, willingness to learn along with a good level of excel ability then this could be the role for you.
You will be someone with high attention to detail and a knack for picking up new systems along with strong communication and not being afraid to have hard conversations with stakeholders across the business.
