**2 x Cooks and 3 x Waiters**

**A - Team Hospitality Limited are looking for 2 x Cooks and 3 x Waiters at our Manawatu-Whanganui hotel. We are a busy and fast-growing Hotel, Restaurant & Bar.**

**Cooks**:
**Core duties**
- **Examining foodstuffs to ensure quality**
- ** regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment**
- ** preparing and cooking food.**
- ** Manage prep time and minimise wastage.**
- ** Maintain and monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation.**
- ** Follow recipes and instructions carefully.**
- ** Seasoning food during cooking.**
- ** Portioning food, placing it on plates, and adding gravies, sauces and garnishe**
- ** Storing food in temperature-controlled facilities**
- ** Preparing food to meet special dietary requirements**
- ** Stocktake and ordering.**
- ** May train other kitchen staff and apprentices.**
- ** Assisting in menu planning and prepare seasonal menu.**
- ** Be familiar with daily and ongoing menus, functions, specials etc.**
- ** Ensure compliance with food safety standard.**
- ** Ensure all statutory, as well as establishment, hygiene regulations are strictly adhered to.**

**Waiters.**

**Your day-to-day task will**
- **Setting and arranging tables.**
- ** Greeting customers and presenting them with menus and beverage lists**
- ** Taking orders and relaying them to kitchen and bar staff.**
- ** Serving food and beverages.**
- ** Opening bottles and pouring beverages.**
- ** Clearing tables and returning dishes and cutlery to kitchen.**
- ** Removing empty bottles and used glasses from tables and refilling and replacing glasses.**
- ** Collecting payments for sales and operating point of sales machines and cash registers.**
- ** Recommend wines, beers and spirit to complement food.**
- ** Ensure all statutory, as well as establishment, hygiene regulations are strictly adhered to.**

**To be considered for this role you should be able to provide previous work references.**

**Working on weekends and will be available on-calls (if required) for this position.**

**Hourly wage rate: $25 - $30 per hour depending on experience and skills.
