Our Finance Systems team lead the development and maintenance of critical systems and data models across Finance, assisting the Finance team and internal customers with improving and streamlining Finance processes, fixing systems / data issues and ensuring these systems meet the Bank's risk and compliance standards.

In this role, you will provide systems support for the wider Finance team. This will comprise of systems operations and maintenance, compliance, testing, upgrades and process improvements.

**Te Tūranga | The role**:
**You will offer support, guidance, and training for Planning Analytics (TM1) and other systems used by the wider Finance team.**
- Own the operation and ongoing enhancement of TM1 models and other tools used to support the planning and reporting requirements of the Finance department.
- Support the Manager Finance Data & Analytics to progress the Finance Planning and forecasting cycles within Planning Analytics Workspace.
- Implement key data strategic initiatives in Financial Information & Control.
- Develop new and enhance existing system controls to mitigate key risks to Finance and improve accuracy and timeliness of data.
- Responsible for smooth operation and continuous improvement of all TM1 environments within Finance.
- Proactively find areas for improvement and generate ideas for new and innovative solutions to Finance problems.

**Ngā mea kia whai angitū ahau? | What do I need to be successful?**

You will have considerable depth of experience in a Systems, Data Analyst role or equivalent ideally within Financial Services with, a profound ability to problem solve and the ability to build strong relationships and manage internal stakeholders.
- Robust IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) Developer experience
- Strong SQL & ETL skills with an emphasis on querying and report writing
- Knowledge of accounting concepts
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science/Commerce or equivalent
- Experience with CDM, PowerBI and Oracle ERP will be an advantage
- Business requirements analysis and gathering
- Advanced MS Office skills
