This is an exciting new role providing the business with data and analysis to ensure effective decision making, as well as championing Tourism New Zealand's finance systems. This role will take the lead on system process improvement and finance systems training across the organisation.
The role will take responsibility for all Oracle finance modules, including maintaining master data, project managing issue resolution with external providers and users, and proactively identifying and implementing system improvements. This role will also project manage future system enhancements.
We need a proactive, data driven business partner who can provide financial insight and partner with the FP&A team to provide information for management and government reporting requirements.
What you will need | Ngā pūkenga mō tēnei tūranga
- Chartered Accountant OR proven progress towards completion, or equivalent Commercial Qualification, with several years in a commercial role.
- A range of financial management information systems experience
- Experience with Oracle ERP and Oracle Planning an advantage.
- Experienced in training delivery for finance systems to a broad range of users.
- You will need strong communication skills and able to effectively engage stakeholders, deliver outcomes and problem solve.
- Have the ability to interpret insights from data to identify risks and opportunities
- You will be tech savvy with an appetite for data visualisation and utilising software tools that present data in a meaningful way.
- Advanced analytical skills that enable you to work with data to deliver meaningful, relevant, and actionable insights. (Forecast and reporting tools experience, Power BI an advantage).
- Understanding the big picture, whilst holding a strong eye for detail is important.
- Demonstrates curiosity, taking it from curiosity/belief to knowledge to insight to action.
- Continually looks to business processes improvement opportunities and supports optimisation in reporting.
