Joining Z as a Kaitātari Mātāmua - Whakamātau Aunoatanga Senior Automation Test Analyst you will be responsible for providing automation testing capabilities and knowledge to achieve the best test approach and outcomes across Z, utilising our customised, cutting-edge Azure Function App Test Automation Framework.

In this role you will enjoy both delivering work and represent testing within the squad and be hands-on, developing test approaches and managing capacity. Bring your self-guided analytical thinking skills into this interesting and varied role

**You will have the opportunity to**
- Be a part of a cross functional digital team transitioning to new and advanced technology while evaluating and exploring new technologies and tools
- Build continuous automation and construct test scripts that are reusable, portable, and reliable
- Provide automation testing capabilities within the integration layers & CI/CD pipelines
- Provide test knowledge, expertise, and the knowhow to achieve the right outcomes and best test approach
- Be part of supporting the Z’s strategic Test Automation frameworks, architecture, platforms, and tools working with our Senior Automation Engineer
- Mentor, support and develop the growth of others with your automation test capabilities and experience
- Identify the right scenarios to automate to enable RoI and aligned to Z's Automation Framework
- Contribute to, and learn from, the CoP & knowledge Library and advise on testing architecture

**Qualifications**:
**What you’ll bring to Z**
- 5+ years test engineering or technical testing experience across different technologies and platforms with hands-on functional & technical testing experience across the entire testing lifecycle
- Experience with Azure Function Apps, integration, CI/CD pipeline and DevOps test automation is preferred
- Strong knowledge of using test Integration tools and hands-on experience with Python and Pytest is preferred
- Hands-on experience with version control systems, eg: Git is preferred.
- Database experience including the ability to construct SQL queries and understand database construction
- Have a continuous integration and development mindset with the customer at the centre of the test design (using behaviour driven test design techniques)
- Strong ability to self-manage and a strong problem-solving capability, planning ability, and focus on execution with excellence

The base salary range for this role is $113,400 to $126,000 per annum, plus 15% bonus based on company performance, a 5% KiwiSaver employer contribution and health insurance through Southern Cross.
