**The role**

To deliver accurate and timely news and/or sport reports for MediaWorks brands on the radio and digital channels as directed by the Music News Director & Editor/Deputy Editor according to the brand guidelines.
- Research and source original news content
- Write stories in news production platform (NewsBoss)
- Sub bulletins when rostered as Sub-editor on weekdays and/or weekends
- Read bulletins as required when rostered as sub-editor on weekends
- Interview sources and cut audio and video for use on MediaWorks stations, websites and social media channels
- Build and develop strong relationships across the business
- Attend news scenes, press conferences, government and local government meetings
- Attend news scenes, press conferences, government and local government meetings
- Produce audio packages of news stories
- Participate in air-check and journalism training sessions

**About you**
- Graduate journalism qualification or Broadcasting specific qualification
- Audio production experience
- Video production experience
- Passion for Radio
- Ability to work across multiple tasks and projects at the same time
- Relationship building skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written skills and communication skills
