HEB Construction are on the hunt for a reliable, motivated and physically fit STMS and Traffic Controllers to join our Traffic Team based in Rotorua.

This position provides traffic management support to ensure the delivery of effective temporary traffic management across various local road projects.

In this diverse, hands on role you will need to be able to adapt to the fast-paced work environment and be able to make decisions under pressure.

**Your main responsibilities will include**:

- Setting up and removing site traffic management
- Completing all required documentation prior to and post project
- Directing incoming deliveries to site while ensuring the safety of workers and the public
- Overseeing the establishment, maintenance and removal of TTM measures

**The following qualifications, experience and skills are required**:
**STMS**:

- Current STMS qualification (category A/B or level 1 or 2 practising)
- A strong work ethic and a "can do" attitude
- Full class 2 driver's licence
- Experience on Local Roads (both Rural and Urban)
- An ability to coach and train on site staff to ensure a high level of traffic management is maintained
- Professional presentation and ability to communicate effectively with clients and members of the public

**Traffic Controller**:

- Practical working experience in the civil construction industry
- Traffic Control qualification (or TTM worker qualification)
- Class 1 driver's licence is preferred
- Motivation to work hard for the team
- Ability to work shifts
- Site Safe/Construct Safe is preferred
