Located in Motueka, Bays Boating is the region’s largest marine retail and service centre. A leading dealer for Stabicraft, Mclay, Fi-Glass, Haines Hunter Boats along with Mercury and Honda outboards and a stockist of a large range of marine chandlery and fishing products.

The showroom manager holds a highly visible and responsible position with a significant impact on the sales and customer experience.

In this role you will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including:

- Greeting and helping customers with their boating or fishing needs
- Responding to customer enquiries and leads
- Referring customers to the admin, boat sales or service workshop teams
- Buying and selling product
- Managing inventory and labelling stock
- Opening and closing the showroom
- Managing online social media and e-commerce sales

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to know your stuff and:

- Be passionate about boating and fishing in general
- Have extensive showroom/retail experience ideally from within the marine industry
- Enjoy meeting people and the sales environment
- Bring a good understanding of marine chandlery, technology, and fishing products
- Be computer savvy & competent using technology
