We are currently seeking a Retail Operations Manager, based in the Central North Island. You will be responsible to drive the sales and profitability of several company owned retail stores which includes stores in New Plymouth, Palmerston North, Wellington, Levin, Masterton and Napier.

**Key to the success of this position**:

- Proven experience in effectively managing people and resources is essential as well as the ability to develop sales & operational processes to deliver exceptional customer service to in-store customers and to our customers in field (24/7 operation to service Commercial customers)
- Achievement of sales budgets and profitability of all stores
- Empowering store managers to achieve their targets by ensuring resources are aligned to maximise opportunities in our existing customer base and developing and implementing improvement plans where required to ensure maximum utilisation of operational resources to generate revenue.
- A strong focus on Health and Safety and compliance is essential
- Mentoring and coaching of staff

Experience in the tyre industry is useful but not a necessity - must have results orientated focus and a have substantial background in retail and or operational management (preferably multi-site)
