The Land and Water Service Group is looking for a Spatial Consultant to join our Geospatial Practice in Tāmaki Makaurau/Auckland to support on a variety of projects as part of a wider national team, bringing your engineering expertise to our projects.

About the role:
In this permanent, full-time (40 hours p/week) position, you will join our Geospatial team in Tāmaki Makaurau/Auckland or Tauranga where you will play an integral part in a national team of highly skilled specialists that
_bring ideas to life_ for our clients. With a focus on growing our Geospatial business and improving the sustainability and social outcomes of our projects, we are actively recruiting for those passionate about working collaboratively and building on technical knowledge within this discipline.

Drive efficiency through the lifecycle of a project, from digitally enabling field teams, sharing spatial information across multiple disciplines and providing engaging content for stakeholders and the community-
- Bring your spatial expertise to city shaping projects such as Auckland Light Rail, Let’s Get Wellington Moving and urban regeneration-
- Use your experience to help Aurecon raise its geospatial awareness across all disciplines, bring innovation and challenge the norm-
- Mentor other team members in geospatial best practice, contribute to global geospatial initiatives-
- Assist in the investigation and creation of technical solutions using spatial platforms and data transformation tools-
- Work with the wider digital team to help deliver work class solutions be it in model design, asset management or visualisationBring your client-centric focus to deliver outstanding client service, stakeholder engagement, and develop new business using your existing industry networksWhat can you bring to the team?A relevant tertiary qualification in an associated business discipline (Spatial Sciences, GIS, or similar)-
- At least 5 years of relevant experience within the New Zealand Geospatial industry-
- Strong knowledge of the Esri suite of solutions, including ArcGIS Pro, Enterprise, Online and mobility tools (FieldMaps, Survey123 and QuickCapture)-
- Strong focus on detail and willingness to contribute to the teamHaving the following would also be highly desirable:
Industry experience in Architecture, Engineering or Construction-
- Experience with FME Desktop and / or Server-
- Scripting skills in Python-
- Strong interpersonal and intercultural skillsOur- Aurecon Attributes
