Supermarket Assistant

We are looking for full time permanent Supermarket Assistants to work in our beautiful supermarket.

**Purpose of Position**:

- To provide a high level of customer service to customers and to ensure adequate stock is on shelves and presented to the highest standards; filled, faced and products rotated

**Key Accountabilities**:
**Operational**:

- Movement of received stock to storage locations and replenishment of [grocery / chilled / frozen / dairy / produce / deli / bakery] stock onto retail floor
- Presentation of stock to a high standard
- Prevent wastage through stock rotation
- Cooking and presenting food to a high standard
- Assist with ticketing, re-pricing, stocktake and ordering as requested
- Maintain a high level of personal presentation and actively engage with customers
- Provide a high level of Customer Service by keeping up to date with product knowledge, promotional information and providing accurate advice to customers
- Serving Customers through our POS system
- Compliance with Food Hygiene and Food Safety Standard

We offer 36 to 45 hours guaranteed per week, two consecutive days off on a monthly roster. Days will include at least one weekend day and can be discussed at interview level.

Wages are between $23.00 and $25.00 per hour depending on experience and intended length of stay.

Full training can be provided to applicants with no previous experience. However previous experience, duty managers licence, forklift licence will be looked at favourably.
