TRT are the leading manufacturers of Heavy Transport Trailers, Mobile Cranes and Specialised Equipment in Australia and New Zealand. We are local, privately owned and we offer fully integrated engineering design, manufacturing and fabrication along with parts distribution and mechanical/crane service.
We are currently looking for a Material Handler / Saw Operator to join our team. Our ideal new team member must be able to work in a team environment in a busy, fast pace workshop.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Show a commitment towards TRT’s Safety Journey of Zero Harm
- Receive / label / grade material into stock racks
- Cut and prepare materials as required as per drawing requirements / work orders
- Understanding of recommended cutting speed and force requirements various steel grades

About you:You will have a proven track record in the following areas:

- Have a high attention to detail
- Positive attitude and outstanding work ethic
- Ability to work alone and within a team
- Punctual and reliable
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Current forklift and overhead gantry certificates
- Knowledge and understanding of production processes in the manufacturing sector
- Be able to follow instructions
- Excellent time management
- Ability to problem solve
- Have high attention to detail

The hours for this role will follow a standard working week (7:30am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday), however, there will be opportunity to work overtime depending on the workload.
