Marine Works Superintendent

We need several Superintendents in both Picton and Wellington to make the iReX project a success.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan, schedule, and oversee all aspects of the project from start to finish
- Manage and direct on-site personnel, including subcontractors, to ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality
- Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and architects, to ensure the project meets their needs and expectations
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and requirements
- Monitor and control project expenses to ensure adherence to budget
- Resolve any issues or disputes that may arise during the project
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reports
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure the project meets all applicable standards and specifications

Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience in marine/ports/wharf construction and/or bridge building
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field preferred
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing teams of workers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and requirements
- Experience managing project budgets and controlling expenses
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
