This leading organization supporting New Zealand’s public sector and managing the payments of people at the heart of the workforce are seeking a strong release manager. This release manager will support the service delivery manager by ensuring the timely and reliable day-to-day operation of IT services and the ongoing improvement of technology processes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Take full responsibility for the management of the IT release, change, incident, and problem processes
- Technical and administrative aspects of release and deployment management across all systems and services
- Coordination of ICT Infrastructure and system changes
- Management and coordination of IT incident and problem management
- Systems management of workflows implemented in ServiceNow and the provision of support to users
- Maintenance of information about Configuration Items required to deliver IT services

**Experience Required**:

- Enthusiastic and customer-focused IT professional
- Experience in release management
- A demonstrable understanding of ITIL or parts of it is preferred
- Experience in writing process documentation
- Experience in coordinating and collaborating with others, including at times advising and
- management and service improvement
- Exposure to ServiceNow is preferred
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methods is desirable
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong customer service focus.
