Porter/receptionist

Join the team at ibis Tainui Hamilton - a 126 room hotel, located in the heart of Hamilton CBD, overlooking the mighty Waikato river We are currently hiring for Front Office staff to help with reception and porter roles.

**Job Description**:

- Attend to incoming calls in a professional and polite manner
- Maintain strict security procedures to ensure guest confidentiality and safety
- Transfer, storage, and handling of guest luggage and property
- Park and retrieve cars in a safe manner as part of the hotels valet service
- Assist with any general enquires and daily duties as required
- Promotion of our loyalty scheme

**Qualifications**:

- Strong computer skills, confident in dealing with guests
(previous experience with Opera PMS an advantage)
- Pleasant and friendly with excellent communication skills
- A FULL and clean New Zealand driver's license with the ability to drive manual and automatic cars
- Flexibility to work varied hours over a 7 day basis including morning and afternoon shifts, as well as working weekends
