ANZ's Open Banking team are looking for a Test Lead to help propel our Open Banking initiatives and solutions into new dimensions.

We are looking for an experienced automated and manual testing professional to join our team as a Test Lead and help us craft and deliver beautiful banking experiences for our customers.

What will your day look like

**In this role you will have the opportunity to**:
Work in an Agile, customer centric and collaborative team, with a range of business and technical stakeholders to deliver outcomes and value for our customers.
Ensure the quality of our Open Banking solutions are of a high standard, including ongoing maintainability and availability which enables business and IT goals.
Work closely with Programme and Enterprise teams to ensure broad reaching, end to end, system complies with testing standards and that these standards are reasonable and achievable
Set and ensure clear testing governance & quality control standards are followed consistently across scrum teams and squads.
Lead and define the Test Strategy meet technical / business requirements in accordance with ANZ's technical standards.

What will you bring?

You will be a people centric test professional comfortable with both implementing the strategic and tactical pathways of our Open Banking direction as well as being highly capable and prepared to use your skills and experience by "being on the tools".

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Proven experience in automated and manual software testing, using a variety of manual and automated testing tools
Extensive practical experience in Agile, Scrum or Kanban
Technical knowledge and understanding of API and microservices development and testing
Participation in test automation code reviews, setting automation coding standards, and championing automation best practices
Mentoring of the testing team; helping testers collaborate with developers in making automated testing part of CD/CD build and deployment pipelines
Experience working with a defect tracking system and providing regular updates and communicating risks in a timely manner
Self-managing accompanied by strong interpersonal skills, a natural leader, can provide guidance and leadership
Lead continuous improvements for quality control. Identify, lead & implement methods of process improvement, systems quality and efficiency
Actively research industry trends, share understanding and experience within the bank, offering technical insight and recommendations where relevant
Ability to set clear and achievable goals, set priorities, delegate and meet deadlines
