**Retail Life Advisor and Employee Health and Benefit Client Executive**

A rare opportunity exists within the Health and Benefits Consulting Team to service our Retail and Group portfolio across New Plymouth and the central/lower North Island area. This unique opportunity will see you manage and grow a portfolio of clients and work closely with the Business Development team to deliver world-class guidance and efficiency to clients.

**We will count on you to**:

- Actively grow the awareness of continuation options within the schemes and implement the insurance covers
- Manage existing Client base and review covers
- Ensure a high level of client retention
- Grow our book of retail clients as well as retaining and developing our group client portfolio
- Actively identify opportunities to add additional insurance for members of existing group schemes
- Work with the Business Development team to develop new business opportunities from the existing portfolio and in your region
- Lead, plan and implement clear and effective renewal and broking strategies
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure timely delivery of client queries and renewal processing
- Develop and maintain excellent internal and external stakeholder relationships to preserve and protect company’s relationships at all times

**Day-to-day this might include**:

- Identifying and solving an individual’s insurance needs
- Planning and developing presentations
- In-person meetings with clients ranging from CFO’s to Heads of HR
- Advising on Life and Health and Benefits products
- Expertly managing account member queries
- Working in partnership with underwriters to complete policies
- Developing a thorough understanding of client needs and the products and services we offer
- Regularly attending industry events and training
- Travel throughout the region

**What you need to have**:

- New Zealand Certificate in Financial Advice (Level 5) or equivalent
- Experience managing and growing a book of business
- Strong negotiation, presentation and people skills
- Self-motivation to work autonomously while being part of a wider team
