**Join the team**

As part of our Ruakura DC relocation were currently looking for a Team Manager to lead our facilities and maintenance. Reporting directly to the DC manager, you will have a dotted line to our National Asset and Automation team. This role is directly responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the new Ruakura DC through maintenance and asset care management.

**What you’ll be doing**

As our Maintenance Manager working for Kmart you will:

- Ensure all building, equipment and assets are maintained and fit for purpose
- Engage with external companies to complete maintenance activities.
- Ensure all assets meet their compliance/legal needs
- Manage equipment/asset requirements across the facility.
- Assess and report on system performance and efficiency.
- Undertake minor repairs and basic maintenance activities as required
- Ensure there is maintenance plan in place and administer it for all site equipment
- Complete risk assessments and implement relevant controls
- Ensure that all individuals working with our machinery are in line with their qualifications / trade / licenses and site requirements

**To be successful in this role you’ll have**:

- Previous experience in site maintenance in a large manufacturing or warehouse operation
- Experience in a technical trade
- Previous Contractor Management experience
- Experience using MEX
- 5S or similar experience to focus on safety
- Strong influencing, stakeholder manager, communication and collaboration skills.
