**About the role**
We are looking for Sample Administrator to join our team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Sample Administration Team Leader, this role is responsible for receipting and registering laboratory test samples arriving at the Diagnostics Laboratory and contributing to running a profitable commercial laboratory services business.
Your responsibilities will also include:
- Maintaining a high level of health and safety practices
- Helping to implement and maintain ISO 17025 quality standards
- Assisting the Sample Administration Team Leader to maintain adequate throughput levels
- Resolving customer queries
- Helping to organise and maintain efficient storage of samples before analysis
- Working with accuracy to meet all legislative requirements pertaining to laboratory testing and the Quality systems
**About you**
In this role you will be part of a supportive team who enjoy the work they do. With a 'can-do' attitude, you'll effectively deliver quality Diagnostics services to our farming customers. You'll confidently demonstrate:
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with accuracy
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong computer skills and ability to pick up new systems quickly
- Knowledge and operational experience with ISO 17025 implementation would be advantageous.
- Having knowledge of farming practices would be an advantage, but not essential.
