The primary role of the Butchery Department Manager is to maximise sales and achieve specified profit margins whilst managing expenses, stock levels and the Department Team so that our customers receive an outstanding shopping experience.
With solid management experience and a Butchery Qualification behind you, you will confidently manage the day-to-day running of our Butchery Department to achieve the highest possible standards of customer service, product range, quality, cleanliness, and profitability. This position will require team-building skills and understanding of achieving set sales targets.
Responsible with the leadership of the team, the successful applicant with be involved with the training, monitoring and performance of staff. Working with the team to complete their duties is an essential part of this position.
This is a 45-hour position over 5 days, including 1 day of the weekend.
Hours of work are to be discussed.
Applicants must hold New Zealand citizenship, New Zealand Permanent Residency or a Valid New Zealand Work Permit.
