**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**
As a Visualisation Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the Qlik environment, creating Qlik apps, maintaining them, and working with Business Analysts and stakeholders to determine what the apps will be.
**Mōu | About you**
We are seeking an individual with a deep-seated passion for data visualization and an innate ability to simplify complexity through the art of data modeling. You'll thrive in a dynamic team, with colleagues scattered across the country, making your proficiency in virtual collaboration and occasional travel a valuable asset.
You will be experienced in managing a Qlik Sense environment to give the best user experience, not just creating amanzing apps within it. Your knowledge of data modelling will include dbt, Qlik replicate and is important to enable a smooth onboarding.
Flexibility is your middle name, and you're always up for a challenge, valuing teamwork as a cornerstone of success. On a day-to-day basis, your role will encompass crafting compelling data visualizations that tell stories and drive insights; nurturing the Qlik environment for optimal user satisfaction; collaborating with a diverse team, both in person and virtually and eagerly taking on new tasks and challenges, demonstrating your versatility.

**Ka kawea e koe | You will bring**:
- Strong experience in managing and developing in Qlik Sense or similar environment with shown ability to adapt to Qlik.
- Knowledgeable in relational and big data architectures, data warehousing, data integration, data modelling, data optimisation techniques.
- Demonstrates experience in facilitating discussions with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven experience in collaborating with Business Analysts and stakeholders to identify needs and build suitable BI apps to address these needs.
- Demonstrates experience in developing a clear strategy for managing and developing the BI&I environment
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
