**Mō te Tūranga | About the Role**

The focus of our Senior Associate is to support our Partner/s around the delivery of exceptional service to our customers. This support will have a credit focus with an emphasis on strong credit writing capability and portfolio risk monitoring. The Senior Partner (who you'd report to) gave us some insight on what to expect with the role:
**What are 5 day to day tasks the person in this role will complete?**
- Supporting business partners - with all client's requirement as well various stakeholders across the bank
- Collaborating with BNZ specialists to deliver value add products that meet our clients' requirements
- Risk Management - quality assurance measures
- Analysing customer financial accounts and credit proposals, and completing credit submissions
- Delivering on SLA agreements

**What attributes will this person have in order to be successful?**

Although experience within Banking or financial services sector is an advantage, we are also keen to hear from those who have gained strong business or financial acumen, whether that has been gained through experience or a qualification. If you are a self-starter who has focus, energy, great communication skills and the flexibility to deliver on multiple tasks to deadlines then this role is perfect for you We are looking for:

- Familiarity in a business banking environment, and/or an understanding of banking principles and document preparation is preferred
- Strong business or financial acumen, but also the analytical skills and the ability to think outside the square
- Natural ability to build relationships with a variety of customers, and excellent communications skills
