**About the role**
As the Manager for Educational Delivery, you will offer strong leadership and management to motivate our Kaiako to provide top-notch educational experiences for students and stakeholders. There will be a special emphasis on online learning environments, your mission will be to inspire our Kaimahi Ako (Kaiako, Kaiaromatawai, and contractors) to deliver outstanding online education experiences for our tauira. Collaborating closely with our Kairuruku (National Programme Manager) is key to ensuring curriculum goals and the unique needs of our online tauira are met.
Your responsibilities will extend to the oversight of the Papa Reo online programme's management and delivery, ensuring excellence in every aspect. Key duties include the effective monitoring of Kaimahi Ako (teaching staff) performance in an online setting, tauira engagement, and upholding the highest standards in academic processes and procedures tailored for online education. Your innovative approach and expertise in online learning platforms will be crucial in enhancing our programme's reach and impact, providing a transformative educational experience for all involved.
**About you**
You will bring with you the following:
- A Bachelors Degree in Education, Management or Commerce.
- Certificate in Adult Tertiary Teaching (Level 5).
- Assessment and moderation standards (4098, 11281, 18203) or an New Zealand Certificate in Assessment Practice.
- Membership or registration of a professional body if the qualification requires it (e.g. SWRB, or Teaching Registration).
- Full Driver’s License.
- 5+ years’ experience managing in a tertiary education environment.
- 5+ years’ experience delivering quality education.
- 3+ years’ teaching experience.
As a kaupapa Māori organisation, your willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Āhuatanga Māori (values, culture and tikanga) is desirable.
