Pesh Advance Horticulture is in need of orchard supervisos to handle orchard workers and various tasks related to operation of orchard.

Full Job Description

As a Supervior you will be reposneble for
- Ensuring compliance with all occupational health and safety regulations.
- Planning and ensuring allocation farm workers
- Supervising and training of farm worker
- Ensure all necessary materials is available for team members as and when required.
- Monitor and supervise work performance standards of all staff
- Supervising and managing the inspection and maintenance of machinery
- Follow program to keep crops disease free and healthy including recording of spray programs.
- Encouraging and motivating staff
- Provide continues training to staff on orchard pruning thinning training vines weeding hoeing and cosmetic thinning processes due to market demands.
- Evaluating the performance of workers and developing new ideas.
- Solve any problem or potential problems in your area of responsibility.
- Providing feedback to the Manager about the performance of the workers and developing new ideas when necessary.
- Control monitor solve and update management on any losses accident costs and any other issues on site.
- Communicates clear and accurate information to staff
- Ensure commitments with customers and other contractors are met.
- Liaise with growers and landowner to ensure work by the employees is being delivered at a high standard and to sort out any potential or current issues with them.
- Report back to Manager on daily output of staff and productivity result

Skills and Specification:

- Some relevant work experience in similar field will be an advantage although training will be provided
- Sound knowledge on Employment laws and Health & Safety requirements will be an advantage although training will be provided
- Leadership skills to supervise the staff would be an advantage

Full-time Permanent position: Minimum 30 hours per week

Wage rate: $30.00 - $32.00 pre hour depending upon experience
