**About the role**
This is a customer relationship and sales role, where you'll work closely with customers on-farm to understand their goals and challenges, and provide them with data-driven solutions to add value to their farms. The role is responsible for a territory in the South Canterbury/North Otago region, based around the Oamaru area.
Key focus areas include:
- Maximising relationships with existing customers, and actively building relationships with new customers.
- Successful implementation of LIC solutions and the achievement of sales targets in your area.
- Identifying new business opportunities with existing and new customers.
- Undertaking educational and promotional initiatives with farmers.
**About You**
As a rural professional, you'll understand and empathise with the unique challenges our farmers face, and easily build trust and credibility with them. You'll either have an outstanding farming record, or a background in relationship management or sales roles. Having a relevant qualification will also be beneficial.
You'll bring a good knowledge of herd and cow quality, genetics, and understand how these impact on profitability.
You'll also demonstrate:

- Results-focused with a track record of achieving great sales results.
- Demonstrate resilience, confidence and adaptability.

- Confident and effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
