**The Role**

Your role will be to process Inwards Goods, communicate with internal customers and suppliers, and to provide excellent customer service to our team members across the store.

Our Inwards Goods team processes incoming deliveries and keeps the flow of stock coming into the main store in a smooth and consistent manner. This includes our warehouse facility, where you will be responsible for ensuring that excess stock is stored correctly, and that the buildings are kept clean, tidy, and accessible.

This is a challenging but rewarding role, working in conjunction with the Trade and Despatch teams, making sure that they have everything they need to complete their tasks.

The role is permanent, working Monday to Friday (40 hours/week). Previous experience in warehousing and its associated Health and Safety standards is preferred for this role.

**About You**

Ideally, you will be able to adapt to a new environment and pick up our systems quickly. You will possess, and be able to demonstrate:

- an organized mindset, as well as attention to detail
- a good level of physical fitness (some lifting is required)
- computer literacy
- good inter-personal skills
- a full, clean NZ driver licence (essential). A current, F-endorsed forklift certification would be an advantage. However, if you have a full licence and are willing to learn we will happily put you through forklift licence training

Previous customer service experience or building and timber knowledge is an advantage in this role, but it is your strong personal values in alignment with ours that will make you successful at Mitre 10.
