We are interested to hear from Health Care Assistants (HCA) who are looking for new opportunities in the surgical field. This is an excellent opportunity to join our Surgical team at Tauranga Hospital.
The HCA role is under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse where duties comprise of patient care, restocking and any other care as required. Surgical Ward 3B specialises in the care of patients undergoing elective and acute surgery. This ward offers high level care to clients undergoing predominantly vascular and Ear, Nose and Throat surgery and provides care to clients undergoing general surgical procedures.
He korero mōu - About You
Preferred applicants will have a certificate in Health Care Assistance of Level 3 or 4 and have current experience working as an HCA in a health care setting or in a related health care service. The successful applicant will have a caring nature with a good work ethic. You must also be entitled to work in New Zealand.
