ACIDULATION OPERATOR
- Permanent role offering a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Salary based on competency between $68,807.78 - $98,296.83 per annum. Convenient Mount Maunganui based plant with free onsite parking
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is your opportunity to join one of the biggest employers in the Bay as we are looking for a reliable, experienced Acidulation Operator, to join us in a permanent role at our Mount Maunganui plant.
You will be engaged in being a part of a Team that strives for world class standards and greatness in quality measures in a competitively engaged environment.
You will perform a range of activities on a variety of equipment used in the manufacture of fertilizer including:
- Producing top quality product to the company quality standards
- Correct and timely operation of the manufacturing plant using both manual and PLC/DCS process
- Manual labour and cleaning activities
- Offering exceptional service to both external and internal customers
- Loader and forklift operation
ABOUT YOU
It's also essential you have:
- Flexibility and ability to work rotating shifts across 24hrs
- Minimum Level 4 Mechanical Engineer qualification or equivalent mechanical aptitude/production experience
- Experience with granulation operation and 1-2 years experience working within an acid plant.
- Forklift license (essential) and Loader License (advantageous) Enchem level3 - Plant and Machinery is a requirement of the role, if not currently held then this training will be provided.
Due to the working environment, you must be physically fit and able to comfortably wear full PPE and at times, breathing apparatuses/masks, for extended periods of time.
