- ManufacturingOne of the largest logistic and transport providers in New Zealand are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join their team.
They offer global supply chain solutions from international freight to warehousing & domestic delivery to a business or the home. They have over 450+ team members nationally, 190+ vehicles in their fleet, and branches nationwide. They also offer freight forwarding, customs clearance and national or international transport and courier services. This means that there are always lots of opportunities with this company
**The role**:
You will be leading a team to maintain and manage stock accuracy and warehouse inventory. You will also be managing and supervising the day-to-day inbound logistics operations.
Reporting to the Logistics Operations Manager, your key responsibilities will be:
- Discrepancy investigations and reporting non-conformances.
- Management on returns processing and damaged inventory in line with customer requirements
- Maintaining and leading a safe working environment
- Ensuring KPIs are achieved.
You will operate as a key member of the logistics team and will be able to build relationships with key staff and management.
**To be successful in the role, you will have**:
- Experience in a warehouse supervisory role and/or stock control/inventory management experience
- Strong time management, organizational and planning skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Competency on a forklift with a current license and OSH certificate
- Excellent customer service skills
We are looking for someone with a bright personality who has the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a range of stakeholders in the position.
