Our IT services are at the core of transforming these service offerings and to support our ongoing work and business transformation goals, we have a position currently available for a talented and technical Senior Solution Architect to join our Survey and Title Enhancement Programme (STEP) on a permanent basis.
The STEP programme is one of the most high-profile & dynamic units in our organisation. Over the next years, they will be focusing on their comprehensive work programme and aiming to provide significant benefits and improvements for our customers, while mitigating technology risk as quickly as possible. STEP is an agile programme, aligned with enterprise direction, developing custom software using modern development and automation practices and mixed cloud services.

**He pūkenga tou - Skills & Experience**:
As one of our Solution Architects, you'll draw on your previous complex project experience to support our System Architect Lead to facilitate, design and describe the solution engineering and overall technical vision for the solution. Your solid understanding of Solutions Architecture and sound experience in AWS cloud computing will help you excel in this role. You will have strong methodologies in an agile, custom development context combined with your practical skill with developing, implementing and managing standards and processes will help you clearly communicate the value of your work to our teams and stakeholders.
You'll have the opportunity to plan and develop the architectural runway in support of our new business Features and Capabilities. You'll support our Agile squads in the technology and engineering aspects of our solution and will place a focus on built-in quality and technical agility.
With your significant experience and knowledge of ICT in an enterprise context, you'll be one of our leading advisors when it comes to translating Solutions Architecture methodologies and ensuring the work you are doing is well understood by the right people and transparent for the wider programme. You'll ensure that our solutions are compliant with our organisation requirements and guardrails and will work to actively “future-proof” the work you are doing against the changing technological environment.
You'll have confidence in your ability to clearly communicate about what work you are doing and share this information with your squad. If you're comfortable presenting your work at System and Solution Demos you'll have the opportunity and we'd love to hear from you, but if you prefer to focus on the technical side of things and work behind the scenes, this is also ok by us
