We are currently looking for motivated and energetic people to support a young adult. You will be part of a team who will support the person to live as independently as possible whilst also providing a safe and consistent environment. Support them to develop new skills, build friendships and interact with others in the community.

This is a busy and diverse role, supporting people with various aspects of daily life and to do the things they want to do such as going swimming, personal cares, support with meals, household management tasks and teaching life skills. - The list is endless Support Workers are part of a team who work shifts or specific rosters providing 24/7 support with the potential of additional sleepover payments included in some rosters.

**Who are we looking for?|** **Ko wai ta tatou e rapu ana**
- People who are passionate about helping others, are kind and understanding.
- Experience with brain injury and implementation of behaviour support plans would be a great advantage but not a necessity.
- There will be a mixture of morning and afternoon/sleepover shifts across the week, so having the flexibility to support your team across a variety of shifts is a key part of this role.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred, including experience with disabilities and challenges behaviours.
- Somebody who has the initiative to push people for their goals, is energetic, outgoing, and can think outside the box. You need to be respectful of others thinking, and their way of living life that may be different to your own.
- Full driver's license is essential.
