**The Role**

**Please note, this role is a hybrid position to be based out of our Christchurch office.**

**In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:

- Orchestrate our systems and key cloud infrastructure (Kubernetes, MongoDB etc.) using Terraform.
- Craft and implement consistent, secure, and repeatable processes for managing cloud infrastructure for existing and new projects.
- Partner with development and operations teams to drive the modernisation of our infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain automated, repeatable, and secure processes that elevate the management of our existing infrastructure.
- Architect, develop, and sustain a self-serve platform that empowers development teams to deploy their services effortlessly, eliminating the need for deep knowledge of the underlying cloud infrastructure. (e.g. Kubernetes).

**In order to be successful in this role, you should have**:

- A university degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical expertise in real-world DevOps roles.
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps.
- Robust experience in Azure and/or AWS.
- Proficiency in cloud and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Terraform is an asset.
- Solid understanding of GitHub.
- Proficiency in at least one CI/CD tool like GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
- In-depth knowledge of DevOps culture and best practices.
