**Your role**

We have a unique, exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Team Leader to join our Mt Maunfanui manufacturing site. In this diverse, challenging role, you will oversee the management, training, health and safety, and general day to day runnig of the warehouse operations, as well as the maangement of local 3PL relationships.

In this operationally focused supervisory role, you will be part of a small, experienced, and extremely knowledgeable team, representing Ixom and some of the largest producers of globally traded chemicals. This site is critical to the success of our warehousing and distribution operations, and consequently, this is a vitally important, highly rewarding role.

**Your responsibilities**
- Management of Ixom and Third-Party stores, maintain annual site budgets, and manage costs across the site
- Lead an effective team to deliver on targets for SHEQ, Service and costs
- Provide leadership and coaching to your team, monitoring individual and team goals, and recognise success and manage disciplinary procedures
- Oversee safety issues across the managed warehouse sites, maintain SHEQ systems and procedures and ensure Major Hazard Facility compliance
- Assess and review incidents; investigate and implement corrective actions
- Ensure physical stock and SAP are accurate at all times and stock is kept in optimum condition
- Lead the business through transformation projects and continuously improve processes and procedures across the site
- Manage services to ensure all goods are ready for collection and delivered in full and on time to customers; liaise with 3PL transport operators to meet service levels
- Review and Assess processes, staffing and equipment to ensure Warehouses operate at maximum efficiency

**Your skills & experience**
- Significant, proven experience in Warehouse operations and management
- Knowledge of the Transport of Dangerous Goods and Hazardous Substances
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a warehouse environment
- Strong commercial and business acumen
- Confident on the use of IT systems such as SAP and Microsoft Office package
- Results and customer service oriented, with a hands-on approach
- Interpersonal awareness and effective communication skills
- Collaborative management of different stakeholders
- Proven dispatch experience would be valued, but not essential.
