Our company is looking for Truck Drivers for Auckland region to join us and undertake the below tasks:

- Drive and operate the truck provided by the company.
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.
- Supervise or help with loading the truck with items as suggested in the plan.
- Check the conditions of the loaded items and ensure that it is secure.
- Follow correct safety procedures while driving the truck.
- Keep records and check invoices for goods that is being carried.
- Plan the best delivery route so that items are delivered within the preferred timeline.
- Document and log work/rest periods and kilometres spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts.
- Work on finding ways to conserve resources, including fuel, which can benefit the business.
- Serve as a brand ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public.
- Observe and report equipment or mechanical failures immediately to the supervisors.
- Report any accidents or vehicle issues encountered while driving to supervisors.
- Maintain vehicle equipment; clean windows, windshields, and mirrors as needed. Keep the interior of the vehicle clean of debris and clutter.

You will be required to work for **minimum of 30 hours per week.**

Other requirements will include:

- Driver’s License is preferred.
- Able to pass drug test.
- Customer service skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Public holidays
- Shift work
- Weekend availability
