**Turf Trainee**

**Mad about Sports? Thought about a career in Sport Turf Maintenance? Keen to earn while you learn?**

**In this role you will learn all about**:

- Preparation sports turf playing fields including of cricket wickets, rugby grounds, soccer fields to international standards
- Irrigation system
- The different types of grass species, diseases and fertilisers that can impact on the performance of a game
- Using state of the art, innovative machinery worth thousands of dollars

**Success factors**:

- Have a passion for Sports Turf and an interest in turf maintenance and be willing to learn and commit to training
- A positive "can-do" attitude and great work is key
- Willingness to accept responsibility and ownership of jobs
- Have a minimum of a Restricted, Manual license.
- The desire to get the job done and work as part of a wider team
