**Te Mahi - About the job**

TAHI is a commercial free, editorially independent, public service media platform created for the rangatahi of Aotearoa. TAHI exists to connect rangatahi with the music, stories and culture of Aotearoa.

You’ll be one of the personalities that drives TAHI’s connection with audiences. TAHI is made for rangatahi, by rangatahi with the support of the wider RNZ team.
- Create personality-based audio and video content for TAHI’s new recurring content offerings.
- Have engaging conversations with your co-host, contributors, and interview talent. You’ve got to be able to keep the conversation moving and find suitable end points in segments.
- Execute content strategies including story arcs and familiar recurring segments to retain audience for future episodes to continue to grow audience connections.
- You’ll be representing TAHI at our own events and other events connected to the Kaupapa.
- Create short form video content for TAHI’s Tik Tok and Reels.

**Ōu Pūkenga - About You**
- You’ll have experience presenting to an audience live, online or otherwise (audio and/or video).
- You can demonstrate that you’ve spent time in front of camera and/or microphone e.g. podcasts, radio, videos - you’re comfortable as a frontperson, and know how to interact with others.
- Sound editorial judgment and demonstrated ability to act decisively and effectively under pressure.
- Awareness of current entertainment events and trends.
- Māori and Pacific Island language pronunciation skills, and good pronunciation skills in other languages.
