**What will you do?**
At Ryman, it's about delighting our customers. We have a full-time Sales Advisor position available working Monday to Friday, with some weekends in addition as needed to show people through the village, host open days, and support our community sponsorships. You will work in our beautiful Rowena Jackson Village in Invercargill.
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Utilise your sales skills to achieve sales targets
- Showcase our retirement living options to prospective residents, understanding that everyone has individual needs
- Develop strong relationships with potential residents and their families, guiding them through the decision-making process.
- Collaborate with the wider team to create a seamless experience for potential residents, from initial contact to move-in.
- Establishing yourself at the heart of the local community, building relationships and networks with potential prospects
- Arranging and coordinating functions and events to showcase your fabulous village
- Initiating the refurbishment process in a timely manner with attention to detail
- Managing the surrender process

**Who are you?**
- Previous experience in sales or customer-facing roles is highly advantageous.
- You have clear and effective communication both verbal and written, as well as active listening skills
- You are customer orientated. You are attentive, empathetic, responsive, and strive to exceed expectations.
- You display a high level of resilience, maintain a positive attitude, and stay motivated.
- You embrace new technology and are proficient in digital tools
- You have strong planning and organisational skills, with effective time management skills
- You can problem-solve - and possess the ability to think on your feet and identify solutions. You exhibit resourcefulness, adaptability, and are adept at finding creative ways to overcome obstacles.
- You demonstrate integrity, honesty, and ethical behaviour
- You easily establish rapport with customers and build strong customer focused relationships
