Parking & Traffic Marshalls

Come and join the team of Traffic Marshalls for a large-scale event in Dunedin. We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to ensure smooth traffic flow and maintain a safe environment for spectators, and staff.

**Responsibilities**:

- Direct and control vehicular traffic around event venues, parking areas, and designated routes.
- Coordinate with law enforcement agencies, event organizers, and fellow Traffic Marshalls to ensure efficient traffic management.
- Manage pedestrian crossings and ensure the safety of attendees.
- Monitor parking areas, guide drivers to available spaces, and maintain orderly parking arrangements.
- Assist emergency services and address any traffic-related incidents promptly and effectively.
- Provide clear and concise directions to drivers, answering their queries and offering assistance as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with event schedules, road closures, and traffic management plans.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience Marshalling or in a similar role is preferred, but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- High level of alertness and attention to detail.
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends.
