**Mō te Tūranga | About the Role**

As a Casual, you'll the first point of contact for our customers on the branch floor, therefore your ability to engage and listen to customers will be essential. No previous banking experience is necessary, we are looking for someone who has strong customer service experience, a 'can do' attitude and a strong motivation to get into Banking.

We sat down with the Senior Partner Personal Banking (who you'd report to), and they let us know the following about the opportunity:
**What are 5 day to day tasks the person in this role will complete?**
- Engaging with customers in a warm & friendly manner, making them feel welcome in the BNZ branch.
- Processing customer transactional banking needs.
- Updating customers personal details and identification.
- Assisting with general product and service enquiries and recommending the solutions, adding value to help customers achieve their financial goals.
- Educating our customers on how to utilise our online platforms, tools and digital solutions.

Please note that as this is a Casual role, there is no set hours of work or regular work pattern.

Day-to-day work can change depending on the needs of our customer so adaptability is important.

**What is the most exciting thing about this opportunity?**

A big part of the role is supporting our customers when and where it's easiest for them. This could include working weekend shifts as and when required, as well as interacting with customers from online enquiries as well as face-to-face.

**What is your management style?**

My management style is one of empowerment, I want people to want to come to work I create space for everyone to make the right decisions for their customers and will coach you to be the best you can be in the role.
