Are you a tech savvy individual with a high level of expertise in Payroll and exceptional attention to detail? If so, this role is perfectly suited to you
It's important to note that this is not your typical Payroll position. It is an exciting and diverse opportunity as you will not only be responsible for handling monthly payroll for three countries, but you’ll be managing part of our benefits programme, supporting our reward program, and continuously aiming to improve our employee experience through tech enablement

**What you'll be delivering**:
**Payroll**
- Preparing and running the monthly payroll for 3 countries
- Collaborating with the People team to gather all information from the HRIS to input into our payroll systems
- Ensuring data with interconnected systems maintains accuracy
- Ensuring payroll related changes are reflected in the HRIS
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and internal policies
- Providing post-payroll reports to Finance, ensuring all actions are completed
- Supporting the People team with the pay review and reward scheme processes
- Running year end processes - P60s & P11Ds
- Developing and maintain relationships with our system account managers, through our quarterly account meetings
- Identifying and propose ways to uplevel our payroll operations, updating all relevant people, policies and process documents when processes change
- Providing post-employment references as requested
- Liaising with Finance to provide information for our annual audit
- Preparing reports such as gender pay gap, apprenticeship levy stats etc.
- Developing and run an audit schedule to regularly audit our data in the HRIS and Payroll systems

**Benefit scheme management**
- Point of contact and responsible for the day to day management of certain benefit schemes that impact payroll (pensions and salary sacrifice schemes)
- Ensuring pension communications are issued and reports submitted
- Coordinating with People & Internal Comms to plan and deliver employee communications and events relating to payroll processes and benefits, including updates to the Onboarding guide and Digital Hub intranet when applicable
- Facilitating annual renewals where applicable

**Systems management**
- Be a system expert in our payroll and HRIS system
- Collect information for quarterly account meetings and provide quality feedback to third party providers to support their continuous system development
- Provide continuous feedback to our third party suppliers to improve the platform design and capability. Step forward to participate in customer product research projects

**We think you'll be successful in this role if you have some of the following**:

- CIPP qualified is preferred but not essential (happy to support professional development)
- Current, applied knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance
- Proven experience as a payroll specialist or similar
- Experience of running multiple payrolls an added bonus
- Outstanding level of attention to detail is critical
- Ability to connect information, question information, and think ahead
- Tech savvy - we are a tech business and love using tech to drive our processes and procedures
- Solutions focused with sharp problem solving and analytical skills
- Commercially focused, good numerical ability
- Integrity, ability to work with sensitive data, maintain trust and confidentiality
